{ 5/7/2008 } Lennox International Toastmasters announces the new slate of officers who will be leading us in the 2008-2009 Toastmasters year.  They are:

President Adam Keller, TM
VP-Education Kerrie Phillips, ACB CL
VP-Membership Angie Flinn, DTM
VP-PR Linda Rummans, DTM
Secretary/Treasurer Lari Oubre, TM
Sergeant at Arms Bob Johnson, CC

These leaders take office on July 1, and will serve our club for one year.  Thank you for stepping forward!  We can't wait to see what heights you lead us to in 2008-2009!

And finally, member speech records for Matthew and Jim were updated following today's meeting.  Way to go, Matthew - you've completed the last manual speech requirement for your AC-Gold!  All you have to do now is finish off your Success-Communication presentation in early November, and that award is all yours.

{ 10/3/2007 } Congratulations to two of our members who have completed their next educational levels!  Kerrie Phillips is now an Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) and Jim Key has completed another Competent Communicator (CC) award.  Way to go, guys - we're so proud of you!

We've updated our Distinguished Club Plan to reflect these completions, as well as our revised planning on how we're going to finish the year a President's Distinguished Club.

{ 8/27/2007 } In a slight change to our speaking schedule this week, Joanie Harris will deliver a speech instead of Jeff Hoard.  We'll see you on Wednesday!

Our member speech records have been updated for the past two weeks of meetings, as has our Member Progress Chart.  We're excited for Kerrie Phillips, who completes her AC-Bronze award this Saturday with a special presentation at a Gavel Club speech contest!

Announcing ... a new addition to our website: the ARM Award Progress chart.  Check it out, and see where our new members are in pursuing their "All Roles Mastered" award.  Way to go, Jeff Hoard - you've got just three more to go!

{ 8/10/2007 } We've updated the records of our speech audits on the secure section of our website.

We've also added a new online Member Progress Chart to the Resources section of our site help us track and celebrate everyone's success in pursuit of their next educational level.  Check it out!

We also updated our club meeting schedule to reflect the addition of our newest member, Lari Oubre.  Welcome, Lari!
Lennox International Toastmasters has been asked to host the Area 42 Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contest!  It will be held on Saturday, September 15th in the afternoon.  We've reserved Training Rooms C&D in the Lennox Learning Center for this exciting event.

We'll need volunteers to serve as escorts and other functionaries, and everyone should mark their calendars to come out and cheer on our contestants.  Don't miss the fun!

{ 7/17/2007 } The members-only secured section of our website is now online!  We'll give out the password during tomorrow's meeting.  If you miss out on the announcement, just email the webmaster and she'll send it to you.  This password-protected section of our site includes member contact info, meeting agenda templates, member educational records, and more.

{ 7/10/2007 } Today's update includes a change to our schedule for our 7/18 meeting. Kerrie's presentation on "Keeping the Commitment" is shifting to August; instead, Angie will teach us all about our new club website and exactly what a "blog" is.  You won't want to miss it!
{ 7/8/2007 } Work on our website continues. Be sure to check out the reformatted Info for Guests.  We've added links to the top of the page to make it easier to browse through the list of frequently-asked questions.

We've also finished the Advanced Manuals resource page.  You'll find objectives and timing requirements for the five projects in each manual.

And we've completed the Educational Program pages, an interactive resource to help you understand the requirements for each award in the Toastmasters educational program.
