members that shouldn't be publicly-accessible ... stuff
like member rosters, contact information, and other
internal club documents. This section requires

Toastmasters International uses the Distinguished Club
Program as a way to measure the health and well-being of
a club.
It includes ten goals, measuring ten tasks healthy clubs
will tackle during the course of the year as they work
to meet the needs of their members. Lennox
International Toastmasters is serious about DCP, and we
purposefully pursue the goal of President's
Distinguished. (Opens in a new window.)

All new Toastmasters begin by working through the
Competent Communicator manual. These ten projects
help you learn the basics of effective communication.
|
 |
In 2005, Toastmasters International launched a
significant change to the educational program by
announcing a new manual in the Leadership track.
The Competent Leader manual provides ten projects to
help members develop their leadership skills through
meeting roles and written evaluations.

 |
Once a Toastmaster has completed the CC award, a
whole new world opens up to them: the world of the
Advanced Manuals. These 15 manuals each contain
five projects focused on a particular type of
communication.
