His role...
The President serves as our club's chief executive
officer. They are responsible for the general
supervision and operation of the club, and basically
making sure all the other officers on the team do their
jobs well.
Personally...
Jim joined Lennox International Toastmasters in
December of 1999. He quickly dove into the communication
track. Specifically, he immediately began to excel
in Toastmasters speech contests, becoming the Humorous
Speech Champion for all of North Texas in November of
2000, and advancing to
the finals of the World Championships of Public Speaking
an unprecedented three consecutive years (in 2001, 2002,
and 2003). His drive and persistence paid off, as
he became the 2003 World
Champion of Public Speaking. He also served
the North Texas district as the District Public
Relations Officer (2003-2004) and an Area Governor (2007-2008).
Professionally...
Jim is an Project Leader in the IT department.
He has also been called upon to put his Toastmasters
skills to use by conducting presentation skills training
for new TMs, for DMs, and for FTCs. Additionally,
he conducts training and delivers keynote addresses
outside of his work at Lennox.

His role...
The Vice President Education is responsible for
planning successful club meetings, and working with each
member to ensure they achieve their educational goals.
In other words, the VP-Ed is the "General of the
Schedule".
Personally...
Angie joined
Lennox International Toastmasters in February of 1999.
She quickly discovered the excitement of the leadership
track, and dove into District service. She served
as Area 24 Governor (01-02), District Webmaster (02-03),
Lt. Governor Marketing (03-04), Lt. Governor Education &
Training (04-05), and District 50 Governor (05-06).
Now that her term as Immediate Past District Governor
(06-07) is complete, Angie's ready to try her hand at
competing.
When she's not "doing Toastmasters", Angie is
passionate about mountain biking, scrapbooking, and

Professionally...
Angie is Manager of eBusiness for Lennox
Industries in the Marketing department. She puts
her Toastmasters skills to the test each spring as a
featured speaker on the Lennox Sales & Dealer Meeting
tours.

VP Public Relations: Jessica Johnson, TM

Her role...
The Vice President Public Relations is responsible
for promoting the club to potential members, and making
sure that members know about current activities, events,
and member achievements. They're also responsible
for our club newsletter.
Personally...
Jessica joined Toastmasters in May of 2011. Her goal
is to enhance her speaking skills and confidence to
encourage good communication with co workers, family and
customers. She hopes to increase membership by sharing
the benefits of the club with potential members.
Jessica was born and raised in Dallas, and is married to
her high school sweetheart. They have two young
children.
Professionally...
Jessica joined Lennox in January of 2010. She has
worked in the Customer Master department and in the Tax
Department. She is currently a Credit Analyst for our
Customer Financial Services Group. She looks forward to
a long career with Lennox and Toastmasters. She is also
active in the Lennox Women’s Business Council as well as
LEAO and various charity committees throughout the city.

Secretary/Treasurer: Kerrie Kitchell, ACB CL

Her role...
The Secretary is responsible for all the club's
record-keeping. From our membership roster and
club officer information, to keeping minutes of our
weekly meetings as well as Club Executive Committee
meetings, the secretary's the one who's always taking
notes.
Personally...
Kerrie joined
Lennox International Toastmasters in October of 2005.
She's previously served as our club Secretary and
Treasurer, and when we asked her to step into the role
of President, she accepted with her signature
enthusiasm. Kerrie has also tried her hand at
competing. She represented our club at the Area
level in the Tall Tales Contest.
Kerrie's Toastmasters involvement isn't limited to
our club. She is an adult leader for a youth Gavel
Club, where her two children are members. She also
served as the Area 42 Governor (2008-2009).
Professionally...
Kerrie works for Lennox International in the
Accounting Department.

Sergeant at Arms: Bob Johnson, CC

His role...
The Sergeant at Arms is responsible for maintaining
our club equipment and meeting space. They're the
first to arrive and the last to leave each week, as they
set up our meeting room and ensure everything's ready to
go. Personally...
Bob joined Lennox International Toastmasters
in May of 2006.
Professionally...
Bob works for Lennox International in the Environmental
Affairs department. |
